Tiger Cubs' coach J.D. Sims noted that much of the game was spent in the rain, but that fact did not stop Greencastle from netting two goals.

Seth Nichols set up Kendall with a great back heel for the first Tiger Cub goal.

"Dylan received the ball and played around a defender, blasting the ball into the back of the net," Sims said. "Evan Crowe scored the final goal when he powered through the defense, and got on the end of a deflected ball. He placed the ball low to the right. The wet conditions made it difficult for the keeper to save and the ball came off his gloves."

The team had Jadin Nunez (its newest member) and Abby Simmerman (a shared player with volleyball) both on the course for the win along with Dixon and Emily Eltz.

"Emily came in with a very strong 51, hitting two fairways and two greens in regulation, 17 putts and one penalty. Double bogies on the last two holes kept her above the 50 mark."

Patrick noted that Simmerman also shot an impressive 54, hitting five fairways.

"Abby had two triple bogies and some three putts, keeping her also above the 50 mark," Patrick noted. "With a little work on her putting I feel she can be under 50 soon.

When asked about her game, Nunez said with a smile on her face "I played and finished."
