The scene Friday in Bainbridge proved that the spirit of the Covered Bridge Festival is alive and well in Putnam County. Dozens of vendors, including Larry Campfield (right) and his wife Jody, will continue to dot the landscape on the town’s east side. Located along U.S. 36 near Bainbridge’s East Point Park, goodies such as antiques, floral arrangements, barbecue and kettle corn (from a kettle dating back to the 19th century) will be available for all through Sunday, Oct. 23.
