Russellville Halloween Social to include meal, masquerade

RUSSELLVILLE -- The annual Russellville Community Center Halloween Social will be Saturday, Oct. 29.

Serving of the evening meal will begin at 5 p.m.

The menu will consist of chili, coneys, hot dogs, sloppy joes, nachos and cheese, fish, french fries, tenderloins, potato chips, homemade desserts and drinks.

Registration for the masquerade is from 5:30-6:45 p.m.

Categories for the costumes prizes are the best character, best Halloween character, animal, prettiest, ugliest, best couple or group, most original and miscellaneous.

There will be 10 winners per category, along with one $50 grand prize winner and a $25 reserve prize winner.

Winners will be announced at 7 p.m.

This year, the carnival will start at 6 p.m. and has several games which consist of Plinko, wheel of bad fortune, swamp pond, duck pond, football toss, toilet paper toss, ring toss, dice toss, basketball toss, pumpkin toss, ghost toss and a fortune teller.

Door prizes every hour and you do not have to be present to win.

Professional photographer Cathy Jones will be on site to take pictures of your little princes and princesses (and a few little monsters).

The public is invited to attend.
