By the 1960s, his career and personal life was in shambles from heroin addiction. In this innovative anti-biopic, with the improvisatory genius of great jazz, director Robert Budreau zeroes in on Baker's life just as the musician attempts to stage a hard-fought comeback, spurred in part by a passionate romance (Carmen Ejogo).

The University Band will commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor on Sunday with Richard Rodgers' stirring soundtrack to the early television series "Victory at Sea," which documented the battle of the Pacific during World War II. The ensemble also celebrates Indiana's 200th Birthday and pays tribute to Indiana native composer Fred Jewell with his rousing circus march "The Screamer."

Featured on the concert will be senior clarinetist Gretchen Stibich in Frank Ticheli's "Blue Shades." Other works include the "Suite in D" by Arthur Bird, Morton Gould's "Ballad for Band, After a Gentle Rain" by Anthony Iannaccone, and the Polka and Fugue from "Schwanda the Bagpiper" by Jaromir Weinberger.
