The Putnam County Center for Women’s Ministries would like to invite ladies in the community to an open house from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov 12. Light refreshments will be provided.

Also, those who attend can enter their name in a drawing for a chance to win a purse filled with various goodies. Three filled purses will be given away and names will be drawn at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Center for Women’s Ministries Inc. is a non-profit organization formed more than 26 years ago in Bloomington. The Putnam County Center has been located in Cloverdale for the past 15 years.

The ministry’s mission is to provide Christ-centered peer counseling at no cost, support groups, Bible studies, prayer groups and educational opportunities in a non-judgmental atmosphere to women within the community.

The Center, located at 404 N. Main St., has recently received a facelift on the outside provided by landlords Jack and Karen Newsom and a new boulder sign created by Boulder Designs, owners Gary and Julie Goss.

Women of the community are invited to take a look and hear more about the services offered to women in need.
