State Champions
The North Putnam cheer squad took home the ultimate prize, earning first place in the State Championship in the Varsity D division over the likes of Triton Central (second), Providence (third), Switzerland County (fourth) and Northeast Dubois (fifth). With 14 teams originally in Varsity D, the Cougars took the top spot out of eight teams that qualified for state through a recent regional contest.
