Cloverdale (3-1)

Friday: vs. South Putnam in county tourney

Game time: 7:30 p.m. at South Putnam

History: The Clovers won 68-46 last year, and six days later South Putnam won 51-41.

Scouting report: The Clovers have defeated Turkey Run. North Central and Shakamak while suffering their only loss of the season to Riverton Parke.

Greencastle (0-4)

Tuesday: vs. Southmont

Game time: 7:30 p.m. at Greencastle

History: Greencastle won 76-37 last year and has won the last three meetings.

Scouting report: Southmont (2-1) lost its season opener 39-38 to Tri-West and has defeated Clinton Central 59-38 and North Vermillion 63-15.

Friday: vs. North Putnam in county tourney

Game time: 7:30 p.m. at South Putnam

History: Greencastle won 65-47 last year and has won the last 14 meetings, dating back to 2008.

Scouting report: The Tiger Cubs have won the county tournament in each of the past three seasons. Senior Mia Stevens has been sidelined by a knee injury. Greencastle has lost to four of the top programs on its schedule in Cascade, Edgewood. Owen Valley and Beech Grove.

North Putnam (0-3)

Tuesday: vs. Covington

Game time: 7:30 p.m. at North Putnam

History: Covington won 48-36 last year and has won the last four meetingsl.

Scouting report: Covington lost its season opener 70-34 to Clinton Prairie and also played on Friday at South Newton. It will be the third straight road game for the Trojans.

Friday: vs. Greencastle in county tourney

Game time: 6 p.m. at South Putnam

History: Greencastle won 65-47 last year and has won the last 14 meetings, dating back to 2008.

Scouting report: The Cougars have been playing a lot of freshmen and sophomores under new head coach Jarrod Duff, whose daughter (Jalyn) plays for the Tiger Cubs.

South Putnam (2-0)

Friday: vs. Cloverdale in county tourney

History: The Clovers won 68-46 last year, and six days later South Putnam won 51-41.

Scouting report: The Eagles won their season opener 44-42 at Rockville and defeated Edgewood 31-21
