County Jail

One person was booked in the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

• At 4:08 p.m. Kyle Anderson Pedigo, 29, Indianapolis, was lodged at the jail on a warrant.

Putnam County sheriff’s deputies investigated 11 recent property-damage accidents.

• At 10 p.m. on Thursday, Sandra D. Lucas, 55, Avon, was eastbound on U.S. 40 west of U.S. 231 in a 2012 Ford Escape when she hit a deer.

Deputy Jeffery Freeman estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000. The vehicle was towed.

• At 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, Marie A. Vanatti, 26, Brazil, was southbound on Manhattan Road south of County Road 300 South in a 2010 Dodge Nitro when she hit a deer.

Deputy Freeman estimated damage at $1,001-$2,500.

• At 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sherry D. Beeler, 56, Fillmore, was eastbound on State Road 240 just east of County Road 775 East in a 2013 Chevrolet Equinox when she hit a deer.

Deputy Jacob Harrington estimated damage at $1,001-$2,500.

• At 11:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Joshua J. Litton, 21, Paragon, was eastbound on U.S. 40 near County Road 250 East in a 2004 Ford F150 when he hit a deer.

Reserve Deputy Ken Rozelle estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000.

Rozelle was assisted by Reserve Deputy Gordon Stone.

• At 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday, Brandi N. Keyt, 32, Brazil, was westbound on U.S. 40 at Appleblossom Lane when she hit a deer.

Deputy Riley Houghton estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000.

• At 5:08 a.m. on Tuesday, Riley F. Decker, 49, Brazil, was eastbound on U.S. 40 east of State Road 243 in a 2011 Nissan when he hit a deer.

Deputy Riley Houghton estimated damage at $5,001-$10,000.

• At 3:22 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12, David A. Richards, 34, Bowling Green, was eastbound on U.S. 40 in a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon when he hit a deer.

Deputy Freeman estimated damage at $2,501-$5,000. The vehicle was towed.

• At 10:10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 11, DeWayne E. Allee, 46, Reelsville, was eastbound on U.S. 40 in a 2008 Chrysler Pacifica when he hit a deer.

Deputy Freeman estimated damage at $1,001-$2,500.

• At 6:57 p.m. on Friday, Frank B. Coffey, 61, Reelsville, was northbound on County Road 375 West in a 1999 Chevrolet Express when he hit a deer.

Deputy Freeman estimated damage at $1,001-$2,500.

• At 6:54 p.m. on Friday, Maria L. Williamson, 37, Fallon, Nev., was traveling on U.S. 40 in a 2007 Kia Rio.

She told Deputy Mike Downing she dropped her cell phone and as she looked down, she ran off the road.

Damage was estimated at less than $1,001.

• At 8:18 a.m. on Friday, Richard C. Menchhofer, 69, Brownsburg, was westbound on U.S. 36 near Big Walnut Creek Bridge in a 2013 Ford Econoline Van when a deer ran into the side of his vehicle.

Deputy Scott Ducker estimated damage at $1,001-$2,500.
