Greg Adams Motorsports and Storage makes way for U-Haul product rental

BAINBRIDGE -- U-Haul Company of Indiana has announced that Greg Adams Motorsports and Storage has signed on as a U-Haul neighborhood dealer to serve the Bainbridge community.

Greg Adams Motorsports and Storage at 1494 W. U.S. 36, approximately a quarter-mile east of U.S. Highway 231, will offer U-Haul trucks, trailers, towing equipment, support rental items and in-store pick-up for boxes.

Adams spoke with the Banner Graphic to explain further how the partnership first transpired.

“It was when Steve (Butts) retired in Greencastle that I thought it was a perfect opportunity for us because there aren’t any U-haul dealers between Greencastle and Crawfordsville, and there aren’t any in Rockville or Danville,” Adams said. “It’s a really good fit for our area and I think we’re going to get a lot of people.

The Greencastle (U-haul dealer) is only open with limited hours -- four hours a day, five days a week and those include Saturday,” Adams added. “So we’re going to try to cover those other hours with our lot (and) we have a larger area so we can keep more inventory when it’s available.”

Hours of operation for U-Haul rentals are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturday. After-hours drop off is available.

Reserve U-Haul products at this dealer location by calling 765-739-6764 or visiting www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Bainbridge-IN-46105/007610.

Greg Adams Motorsports and Storage owner James Adams is proud to team with the industry leader in do-it-yourself moving and self-storage to better meet the demands of Putnam County.

“It’s a good fit for people in the area who need a quick-move,” Adams said. “(Our vans) are user-friendly -- people get afraid of driving an oversized moving truck, so our little 10-foot vans are perfect because they’re no different than driving a normal van.”

Truck sharing is a core U-Haul sustainability business practice that allows individuals to access a fleet of trucks that is larger than what they could access on an individual basis.

Every U-Haul truck placed in a community helps keep 19 personally owned and large-capacity vehicles, pickups, SUVs and vans off the road. Fewer vehicles means less traffic congestion, less pollution, less fuel burned and cleaner air.
