Lucreshia 'Tish' Jane Bond

Lucreshia "Tish" Jane Bond, 72, of Reelsville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 25, 2016 at Union Hospital with her family by her side.

Tish was born July 6, 1944 in Crossville, Tenn., the daughter of the late Dalie Barnett and Hazel (Oakes) Taylor.

A 1960 Reelsville High School graduate, Tish was a housewife and a grain and hog farmer.

She married the love of her life, Floyd "Kenneth" Bond, on Nov. 1, 1963. He preceded her in passing on July 16, 2010, after 46 years of marriage.

Tish was an avid and proud member of the NRA.

She enjoyed hunting, gardening, crocheting and the outdoors in general. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of Reelsville United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Opal Davidson, and granddaughter, Rebecca Pierce.

She is survived by her children, Chuck Bond (Jan), Tom Bond (Tammy), Tracy Bailey (Ron), Tammy Batchelor (Eric); grandchildren Jennifer Hammond (Andrew), Jessica Blake (Michael), Whitney Roberts (Brandon), Lindsey Bond, Charlie Bond, Amanda Patton (Shawn), Sarah Bond, Christopher Rood, Caleb Bailey (Jenna) and Sammy Batchelor; many great-grandchildren; brother Dan Barnett of Crossville, Tenn.; sisters, Kathy Fenwick (Rod) of Bainbridge, Karlene Taylor of Reelsville, and Ava Cummins (Dave) of Reelsville; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29 at French Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Calcutta Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
