Clothe-a-Child fundraiser at Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE -- A Saturday, Dec. 3 craft and talent show will help raise funds for the Cloverdale Community Clothe-a-Child program.

The Clothe-a-Child program has been thriving in Cloverdale since the 1970s and last year helped about 80 children in the Cloverdale Community School Corporation district.

Coordinator Lita Sandy has announced that the 10th annual Community Craft Show is set for Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Cloverdale High School auxiliary gym.

Vendors will remain open until 4 p.m.

The schedule includes:

10 a.m. -- Performance by Covered Bridge Choir.

10 a.m. -- Holiday painting with Lori Baker (free will offering).

10 a.m.-- Crafts for kids with Julie Hoffa (free will offering).

Noon -- Pie-baking contest. Winner receives $50 Walmart gift card.

1 p.m. -- Main Street Cloverdale Christmas parade.

At 4 p.m. the curtain will raise for on the “Just Dessert” benefit show for Clothe-a-Child in the cafetorium.

The show will feature local talent from Dance Workshop and more.

Reserving a table or a free will offering at the door includes one dessert and drinks served at your table or seat.
