Emerald Palace playground pickets available as Christmas gifts

The Greencastle Friends of the Park suggest that for a present for that hard-to-be-buy-for individual or even a last-minute gift, local residents consider sponsoring a decorative picket at the Emerald Palace playground at Robe-Ann Park.

Persons can continue to help build the Emerald Palace Playground by purchasing a picket fence post for $20.

The picket will be engraved with the name of your choice and will permanently be part of the playground. Each engraved post will be visible from the inside of the playground.

A personalized post can hold up to 28 letters or characters.

Interested persons may call Joan Davis at 653-3445 to obtain a purchase form. Checks should be made payable to the Putnam County Community Foundation.
