County Jail
Twelve people were booked in the Putnam County Jail recently.
Monday
At 10:05 p.m. Matthew R. Tiller, 33, Mooresville, was lodged at the jail on a Morgan County warrant.
At 4:18 p.m. Graylon Dwight Bell, 50, Terre Haute, was arrested on a court order.
At 9:59 a.m. Shane Allen Willey, 26, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for burglary, residential entry, theft and probation violation.
At 9:12 a.m. Pamela Kay York, 53, Cloverdale, was booked in on a court order.
At 7:41 a.m. Joshua Lee Doane, 33, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a warrant for aggressive driving and reckless driving.
At 3:30 a.m. Joshua Tyler Ratliff, 25, Indianapolis, was charged with false informing and a Department of Correction warrant for parole violation.
Saturday
At 8:44 p.m. Kevin Patrick Chambers, 53, Cloverdale, was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a prior conviction, driving while intoxicated endangering a person and driving with a suspended license.
At 10:19 a.m. Latrice Raven Sullivan, 26, Indianapolis, was housed at the jail for possession of a controlled substance and trafficking with an inmate.
At 4:12 a.m. Brianna Lynn Boswell, 18, Cloverdale, was booked in for driving while intoxicated.
At 3:12 a.m. Larry Max Morse, 63, Brazil, was lodged at the jail for driving while intoxicated.
Friday
At 4:33 p.m. Chad Everett Redding, 40, Sullivan, was arrested on a court order.
At 4 p.m. Robert L. Bradley, 23, Coal City, was housed at the jail on a warrant for unlawful possession of a syringe and dealing in paraphernalia.
City Police
Three recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.
At 5:44 p.m. Monday, Christopher Dean Perales, 47, Greencastle, was arrested by Sgt. Eric Vaughan at an East Washington Street residence.
Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, Perales was arrested on a Hendricks County warrant for theft and driving with a suspended license.
At 1:12 a.m. Saturday, Chris A. Puhala, 48, Greencastle, was taken into custody by Capt. Charles Inman on U.S. 231 North.
Puhala was taken to the Putnam County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Puhala registered a blood-alcohol level of .21 percent under portable breathalyzer testing.
At 7:03 p.m. Friday, Rick Lee Green, 40, Cloverdale, was arrested following a reported shoplifting incident at the Walmart store.
Arrested by Capt. Inman and lodged in the jail, Green allegedly attempted to steal a chainsaw, valued at $137, by exiting the store through the lawn and garden department without paying.
Meanwhile, a three-vehicle accident was reported on State Road 240, east of Calbert Way, at 6:08 p.m. Friday.
Officer Matt Huffman that Kennedy Downing, 20, Greencastle, was westbound, driving a 2005 Pontiac G6 when as she looked down, her car struck the rear of a stopped 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Porschia Williams, 25, Greencastle.
Impact pushed the Williams car into the rear of a stopped 2017 Ford Thunderbird driven by Shawn Garner, 39, Cloverdale, Huffman reported.
Total damage in the mishap was estimated at $1,000-$2.500.
