Howard C. Lilley, 68, of Quincy, formerly of Indianapolis area, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016.

He was born July 23, 1948 to the late Charles Lilley and Helen (King) Allred in Noblesville.

He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree from ITT Technical Institute.

He was a biomedical electrician for Community Hospital East and Columbus Regional Hospital. He retired in 2011.

He was a proud member of the NRA and was an avid fisherman.

Howard is survived by his wife, Patti J. (French) Lilley; a son, Aaron C. Lilley; two stepsons, Shawn (Anuja) and Josh (Kristen) Petruniw; a grandson, Jack Petruniw; and three half-sisters.

Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11 in the Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Sunday from 2 p.m. until service time at 4 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and to the American Cancer Society.
