CHS FFA slates seed auction for Jan. 24

Tuesday, December 13, 2016

CLOVERDALE -- The Cloverdale FFA will be conducting a seed auction at Cloverdale High School on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

The social event begins at 6:30 p.m. with the auction starting at 7 in the Cloverdale cafeteria.

Bulk crop seeds such as soybeans, corn, clover, alfalfa and possibly wheat will be available for farmers to buy at a discounted price.

Jeff Rich will be the auctioneer. All proceeds will go toward the Cloverdale FFA to help in keeping the cost down for students to attend camps, contests and other fun activities the FFA does throughout the year.

Desserts and drinks will be available.

Last year this event alone paid for students to go to Denver for a week to compete at the National Skill-a-thon Contest.
