The first significant snowfall of the year, and a good packing snow at that, provided the perfect opportunity for Elder Taka and Elder Wadley to build a snowman who stood approximately eight feet tall outside their Wood Street apartment Tuesday morning. Besides causing dozens of crashes around the area (see story at right), the approximately two inches of snow that fell also gave area residents their first chance to build entries for the Greencastle Parks Department Snow Sculpture Contest (see page 3).
