Carol Lou-Ellen Baxter

Carol Lou-Ellen Baxter, 92, of Greencastle, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec.17, 2016.

She was born July 23, 1924 in Honaker, Va., to Milburn the late Robert Whitt and Molly Alice Graham (Puckett).

She is survived by her son, Larry Baxter and his wife Sue of Greencastle; daughter Sheila Altmeyer and her husband Phil of Greencastle; nine grandkids; 17 great-grandkids and two great-great-grandkids.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Ann Baxter; son Darrell Baxter; daughter Brenda Baxter; siblings Rosann Shrader, Raligh Graham

Whitt, Leara Stinson Cook, Martha Leatha Stinson, James Alderson Whitt (Fuzzy), Winifred Francis Bryant, Rebecca Alice Sparks, Thomas Thurman

Whitt, Isaac Harman Whitt, Robert Pascal Whitt and Bonnie May Whitt.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service time. Condolences may be sent to cds@whitakerfuneralhome.net.
