PCPL expanding hours in 2017

The Putnam County Public Library will increase its weekly hours of operation starting in 2017.

The change will keep the library open an additional two hours on Monday evenings and hopefully make the library’s operating hours easier to remember.

The new hours will be 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The library will be closed on Dec. 24-26 for Christmas, and Dec. 31, Jan. 1-2 for the New Year’s holiday.

Additionally, there will be no Community Help Desk from Dec. 22 until the beginning of 2017.
