With Police Chief Tom Sutherlin presenting him an award, the Greencastle Police Department has commended Reserve Officer Billy Wallace for his dedication to the City of Greencastle. Wallace was recently chosen as GPD Reserve Officer of the Year for 2016. Reserves are required to only work 16 hours a month or 192 hours a year, yet Officer Wallace worked more than 900 hours in 2016. “Wallace has gone above what is required of him and we thank him for his dedication,” Sutherlin said.
