Suzanne L. Anderson

Suzanne "Sam" Anderson, 71, of Cloverdale, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017.

Suzanne was born to James R. and Betty E. Stokes on Dec. 6, 1945.

She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, crossword puzzles, reading and spending time with family.

Suzanne was an intelligent woman who was well known for her quick wit and love of John Mellencamp music.

Suzanne is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Mark Anderson; her children, Renee Dyer, Rachelle Burgess (Scott), Rhonda Quintero, Jason (Amy) Shores, Amanda (Gavin) O'Mahoney and Brandy Anderson (Travis); siblings Dennis (Karon) Stokes and Victoria (Doug) Basham; sister-in-law Susie Stokes; 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Daniel "Duke" Stokes and David Stokes.

Memorial services will be Tuesday, Jan. 24 from 4-7 p.m. at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
