Monday, Feb. 6

-- Imagination Portal Unplugged, 9 a.m.-noon

Enjoy the Imagination Portal without monitors, video games or music in the background.

-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

PCPL has a technician available to diagnose and help repair your computer and electronics. Most computer problems can be repaired in 20 minutes but if your problem is severe enough, or would take longer than 30 minutes to fix, it is recommended you take it to a professional.

-- Technology in the Classroom, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

The library, in collaboration with Greencastle Community School Corporation, will present Technology in the Classroom. This class will give parents an overview of iPad use, Canvas, Google Drive, Notability and Digital Citizenship as well as answer questions. Technology in the Classroom is free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited. To sign up, register online at PCPL21.org, call Mike at 653-2755 Ext. 118, or stop by the library circulation or reference desks.

Tuesday, Feb. 7

-- Music Makers, 11 a.m.-noon

Every month on the second Tuesday listen to stories, sing, dance and explore with rhythm instruments. For ages 3 and up. Parents and caregivers are encouraged to participate.

-- Community Help Desk, 4-7 p.m.

-- Learn to Knit, 6-7:30 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 8

-- Cooking with Kids, 4-5 p.m.

Each month a simple, kid-friendly snack is prepared as they talk about cooking basics and read some stories while enjoying a treat. This month it will be chocolate cheesecake pie. Space is limited, so please register by Feb. 4. You can register for this event by calling 653-2755 ext. 121, by emailing (kmullinnix@pcpl21.org), or by filling out the form online at PCPL21.org.

-- Yarn Perch, 5-8 p.m.

Need crochet help or crochet companionship? Jo MacPhail will take her Yarn Perch (located on the balcony above the lobby) every Wednesday evening to help those in need.

Thursday, Feb. 9

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

-- Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs, and make a craft.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11-11:45 a.m.

Hear theme-based stories, move around and sing action songs, make a craft and have a small snack

-- Bridge for Everyone, 1:30-3 p.m.

Come to an open bridge game on Thursday afternoons in the Kiwanis room. All who enjoy bridge are invited to attend, regardless of skill level. Group will be facilitated by Dorothy Brown. If you have questions, contact Barbara Timm at btimm@PCPL21.org.

-- LibrarYoga, 5:30-6:30 p.m.

PCPL is offering free Yoga sessions led by certified yoga instructors every Thursday evening. Classes are for all levels of students. Participants should wear comfy, stretchy clothes. Yoga mats, blocks and straps are available for your use.

-- HEC Greening Greencastle House Party, 6-8 p.m.

Hoosier Environmental Council’s Greening Greencastle House Party will feature Amanda Shepherd, senior Outreach Associate of the HEC. Greening your community events are taking place throughout the state and feature HEC staff members who present on pressing environmental issues in Indiana, in the state legislature and beyond.
