‘Technology in the Classroom’ today

Sunday, February 5, 2017

The Putnam County Public Library, in collaboration with the Greencastle Community School Corporation, will present Technology in the Classroom on Monday, Feb. 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.

C.J. Shields, the technology integrator for Greencastle Community Schools, and Michael Acsbok, the technology director at Putnam County Public Library, will give parents an overview of iPad use, Canvas, Google Drive, Notability and Digital Citizenship as well as answer questions.

Technology in the Classroom, to be held in the Kiwanis Room at the library, is an effort to position the library as a partner with the school system, providing supplemental educational resources, Internet access, technical support and training to both parents and students.

Technology in the Classroom is free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited.

To sign up, register online at PCPL21.org, call Mike at 653-2755 Ext. 118, or stop by the library circulation or reference desk.
