Marilyn Kay Clemons, 72, of Cloverdale, passed away Friday, Feb. 3, 2017.

She was born Nov. 24, 1944 in Williamsport, Ind., the daughter of the late Wilmer Baines and Anna Virginia Garrison Olsen.

She was a special needs teacher's aide for the Indianapolis Public Schools.

Marilyn will be remembered for her kind heart and unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and special, especially the many children and teens whose lives she touched throughout her years.

She enjoyed spending time in nature and could often be found on her dock, fishing the morning away with her beloved dog by her side.

More than anything, Marilyn loved her family. She adored her grandchildren, was proud of her sons, and loved the life that she and Bill had built over the 50 years they spent together.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Bill Clemons; sons, Bill (Amie) Clemons Jr. and Pat (Nari) Clemons; grandchildren Brandon (Kelly Johnson), Katie and Sam Hunt and Sohan, Arjun and Priya Clemons.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel.
