Eldora L. Robinson

Eldora L. Robinson, age 100, Clayton, formerly of Fillmore, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2017.

She was born on Oct. 9, 1916 in Portland Mills, Ind., to William and Nellie Spencer Bain.

Eldora was the assistant postmaster for the Fillmore Post Office for 20 years before her retirement.

She was a member of the Fillmore Social Club and was an avid IU basketball fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Ramona Rosalie Beaver; granddaughter Diane Campbell; great-grandchildren Kayleigh Beaver, Nick and Brandon Campbell; and great-great-grandchild Jaeden Mejia.

She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Robinson grandson Kenny Beaver and sister Barbara Douglas.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, Feb. 12 from 2-4 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.

Graveside services will be held on Monday Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. in Brick Chapel Cemetery.
