2 West Bistro to unveil unique menu

2 West Bistro will add the “International House of Steak,” featuring steaks and international foods, to its menu.

“We have some great steak options and a lot of unique international specialty items,” said Chef Perri Jackson, catering chef and mastermind behind the new menu.

The international items include pad thai, red curry, peruvian chicken and caribbean pepper pot.

“The international items have been developed over the last few years as we ask our staff and customers to suggest recipes,” Chef Jackson said. “These might be family recipes or dishes they have eaten in their home country or countries they have visited. Items like these are becoming more and more a part of the ‘American’ food category as we realize how diverse our food culture really is.”

Chef Jackson is assisted by sous chefs Caroline James and Amy Hicks.

2 West Bistro, located inside the Inn at DePauw at 2 West Seminary St. in Greencastle, is open for breakfast and lunch every day and for dinner Wednesday through Saturday and holidays.
