GPD investigates suspicious package

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Greencastle City Police Officer Zach Rhine was dispatched to Chiyoda factory on Indianapolis Road on the city’s East Side to investigate a suspicious package.

Due to the nature of the package the Indiana State Police Bomb Squad was called and an X-ray of the device was conducted by the bomb squad.

The package turned out to be spray cans that been wrapped up with cloth and ducted taped together.

The incident is still being investigated.
