Legislative Update session set for Saturday morning

Putnam County Farm Bureau will host its second Legislative Update program of the 2017 Indiana General Assembly session on Saturday, Feb. 18.

District 44 State Rep. Jim Baird (R-Greencastle), District 24 State Sen. John Crane (R-Avon) and District 37 State Sen. Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) are expected to attend the 8 a.m. program Saturday in the board room of the Putnam County Farm Bureau office, 1001 N. Jackson St., Greencastle.

Moderator Steve Cash will update the audience on bills of special interest to the Farm Bureau and other agricultural concerns.

A third and final Legislative Update session is tentatively scheduled for March 18.

Putnam County residents are urged to attend the informative sessions.
