Robert Wayne 'Rocky' Minnick

Robert Wayne "Rocky" Minnick, 84, Cloverdale, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born in Brazil, Ind., on Aug. 9, 1932 to the late Clarence and Lillian (Wetnight) Minnick.

Rocky graduated from Brazil High School in 1950, and retired from IBM Corp. after 35 years of service.

He went on to marry Donna Gorham on June 4, 1960.

Rocky was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge.

He was also a member of the Bent Rods Car Club in Cloverdale. He enjoyed attending car shows, playing golf, riding motorcycles and loved spending time with his family.

Rocky was preceded in death by his son, Tony P. Minnick.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Donna Minnick, Cloverdale; sons Michael E. (Jacque) Minnick, Cloverdale, and Mark W. Minnick, Bloomington; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27 at Soul Harvest Church, 14 Crosswinds Drive, Cloverdale, with Pastor Matt Nichols officiating.

The family will accept friends for visitation on Monday from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

Moore Funeral Home in Brazil was entrusted with Rocky's cremation arrangements.
