Superintendent contract subject of GCSC meeting

The Greencastle Community School Corporation has announced a special meeting will take place on Monday, March 6 within the district’s administrative offices (located at 1002 Millpond Ln.) at 3:45 p.m.

A notice from GCSC reads “Signing of Greencastle Community School Corporation superintendent’s contract” and is expected to see the school board vote either for or against a contract to begin effective March 1 for current superintendent Jeffrey Hubble, who will then sign the contract in the event of a favorable vote.

The meeting is expected to go in favor of Hubble becoming superintendent as a reception, complete with cake and punch, is set to immediately follow the meeting.
