The Greencastle Fire Department recently responded to one dispatch and one medical run.

• At 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded a fire alarm unnecessarily activated at a pull station at 311 S. Locust St. GFD reset the alarm and subsequently returned to station at 1:35 p.m.
