Superintendent of Public Instruction Jennifer McCormick converses with Greencastle High School Principal Russ Hesler after speaking to a number of superintendents, principals, teachers and parents Tuesday inside the cafeteria at Greencastle Middle School. McCormick not only expressed her recent efforts and the current state of education in Indiana, she also fielded a variety of questions from those eager for answers. Questions from the audience touched on a score of topics, including ISTEP, nutrition guidelines, the Indiana Legislature, virtual preschool and more. Tuesday’s question-and-answer session is the latest in a string of school visits McCormick has made recently.
