Joyce Kay Scott

Joyce Kay Scott, 69, of Greencastle, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at her residence.

Born Oct. 17, 1947 in Lebanon, Ind., she was the daughter of Lonzo Artman and Elizabeth (Johnson) Artman.

Joyce had worked at the Ice Miller Law Firm in Indianapolis for more than 30 years.

She was a member of the Stilesville Christian Church.

She grew up in Westfield and loved cats.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Robert "Bill" Scott, Avon; sons Kevin Brown and wife Sara, Ft. Wayne, and Kyle Brown, Greencastle; grandchildren Justin, Gavin and Calvin Brown, Ft. Wayne, Carter Brown, Greencastle, and Brooke Buckner, Indianapolis; a sister, Jill Boehm and husband Billy, Fairfax, Va.

Her parents and a brother Jack Artman preceded her.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 16 at Bousley Funeral Home, Coatesville.

Services are set for 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 17 in the funeral home with Pastor Karen Burkley officiating. Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.
