Mary Alice Slicer

Mary Alice Slicer, 73, of Quincy, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017.

She was born Oct. 12, 1943 in Liberty, Ky., to the late Elmer Brown and Lillian Brockman.

She married Charlie L. "Toby" Slicer July 19, 1963, and he preceded her in death in 2006.

She is survived by her children Carol Heidrick and husband David of Spencer, Charlie "Jr." Slicer and wife Robin of Quincy, and Patricia Slicer of Quincy; siblings Sue George of Indianapolis, Charlie Brown of Cloverdale, and Ray Brown of Camby; grandchildren David Heidrick, Eddie

Heidrick (Crystal), Danny Heidrick, Tabatha Slicer (Cain), Tobi Slicer, Elizabeth Huber and husband Evan, Jessica Jordan; great grandchildren Trey Heidrick, Gauge Heidrick, Skylee Heidrick, Dakota Heidrick, Jacob Heidrick , Braxton Heidrick, Jayce Heidrick, Wyatt Heidrick, Paisyn Slicer, Toby Slicer and Jack Rian McMillian.

She is preceded in death her daughter Deborah Kay Slicer, and siblings Glenn, Bobby, Jay and Edith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 17 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.
