Sparking Fun

Courtesy photo Thrilled for a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog, two-year-old Langston Mattas, son of Isaiah and Kayla Mattas, Indianapolis, and grandson of Greencastle Kiwanis Club President Pam Bowman, plants a big kiss on him during the recent Kiwanis Club Pancake Breakfast. Kiwanis served more than 300 people at its annual breakfast at the Greencastle Moose Lodge with proceeds going to such organizations as high school Key Clubs, College Circle K, Putnam County Comprehensive Services Aktion Club, Riley Children’s Hospital and Putnam County high school scholarships. In addition to Sparky, Greencastle Fire Department personnel and the men and women of the Moose Lodge, helping make the event possible were entertainers Chris Wurster, Covered Bridge Harmony, Dan Brush and Upward Journey.
