Cloverdale to host special meeting Wednesday

The special meeting of the Cloverdale Redevelopment Commission and the Cloverdale Redevelopment Authority originally set for this Wednesday and then for today at 1 p.m. has again been cancelled.

The rain date is loosely set for Wednesday, June 7 at 1 p.m. in the Cloverdale Town Hall. The meeting is to award a bid for the Stardust Road construction project. Public welcome.

Hopefully they talk about not using ground up materials from the road on elected officials driveways. Maybe they will talk about another donation program for sidewalks in exchange for road materials. This is the same donation program that no one knew about until after the clerk treasurer and her town manager husband got caught having materials dumped on their driveway. I'm sure that was just a big misunderstanding as stated by some of the town council members. I wonder where the minutes of the meeting are where this misunderstanding was discussed. People of Cloverdale need to remember this nonsense when it comes time to vote. They all need to go!
