With school out and summer getting into full swing, vacation Bible school is either being planned or already starting at local churches.

Cloverdale Church of Christ

The Cloverdale Church of Christ will host its vacation Bible school beginning Sunday, June 4, lasting through Thursday, June 8. The event will run from 6-8 p.m. each evening, with classes for all ages, including adults.

This year’s theme is “Trailblazers for the Faith,” based on the scripture “Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths,” Psalm 25:4.

New Maysville Community Church

The New Maysville Community Church will host its vacation Bible school the week of June 12-16 from 6-8 p.m. each evening.

Children from the age of two and up are welcome to come join in a week of Bible stories, crafts, games, songs and fun with others.

Come see what the Bible has to say about Jesus and his love for all the children.

The church is located at 6817 E. CR 900 North, Roachdale.

Stilesville Christian Church

Stilesville Christian Church will host Barnyard Roundup vacation Bible school on June 19-23.

The program runs from 9-11:30 a.m. each day.

First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church of Greencastle is sponsoring its vacation Bible school nightly from Monday, June 26 to Friday, June 30.

Times each evening are from 6:15-8:30 p.m. with a free meal at 5:45 in the fellowship hall of the church located at 404 Judson Dr.

Children age four through fifth grade are welcome to pre-register online at fbcgc.com or call 653-3136.

Children will become inventors who discover they are crafted by God.

There will be Bible learning activities, catchy songs, teamwork-building games, Bible adventures, science gizmos and Bible memory buddies.

Kids at Maker Fun Factory will also join together for a mission to help secure clean drinking water for people in Peru.
