Vivian Arlene Fowler

Vivian Arlene Fowler, 92, of Spencer, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Owen Valley Health Campus.

She was born Nov. 22, 1924 in Danville to Alva and Hazel (Farris) Small.

She was a 1943 graduate of Patricksburg High School.

She was a member of Friendly Open Bible Community Church, Friendly Circle and El Shadai Emmaus Community.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking and baking, working jigsaw puzzles and word puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived her children, Patty (Gerald) Berger of Phillips, Wis., Mike (Alberta) Fowler of Coal City, Sandra (Wendell) Barger, of Coal City, and Steve Fowler of Jackson, Ohio; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Fowler; siblings Dave Small, Jim Small, John Small, Marcela Rood, Lois Sherfield, Vera Harden and Marian McCormick; a grandchild, Tommy Sherfield; and a great-grandchild, Adam Roberts.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 14 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Tracy Killinger will officiate. Burial will follow at Marian Cemetery in Patricksburg.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
