Robert 'Rob' Aden Brown

Robert "Rob" Aden Brown, 44, of Greencastle, passed away June 11, 2017 peacefully at his home from a short battle of cancer.

He was born Nov. 16, 1972 in Greencastle to Robert "Bob" Brown and Lynn (Elliott) Brown, who both survive.

He is also survived by his sister, Bobbie (Brown) Eubanks and her husband Tod; his three children, Cierra, Blade and Lindsey Brown; his long-time significant other, Gloria (Wright) Carpenter; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and loved ones from Gloria's family.

He precedes his grandparents in death, Aden "Bud" Lester Brown and Ella Marie (Bassett) (Brown) Murphy, Byron Alaska Elliott and Garnet Virginia (Elliott) Porter.

Rob was a 1991 graduate of South Putnam High School.

He was employed as a welder at Britta Tools in Brazil.

Rob was a simple man with a big heart. In his free time he enjoyed all types of hunting and fishing, being outdoors and spending time with loved ones.

No funeral services will be held. His family instead wants to celebrate his life and everyone that loved him.

His celebration will be held Saturday, June 24 from 2-4 p.m. at Greencastle Christian Church with a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Anyone who would like to celebrate his life is welcome to attend.
