Mud Mania mud bog fundraiser on tap Saturday

A Mud Mania mud bog fundraising event is scheduled for Saturday, July 8 at Seniour’s Auto Salvage off Manhattan Road south of Greencastle.

Proceeds from the noon to 6 p.m. event will go toward local Girl Scout Troops 3700 and 1734 and the Putnam County 4-H Youth ATV Safety Club.

The mud bog is open to ATVs, trucks, cars and spectators.

There will be a $10 admission fee with youngsters 12 and under admitted free.

ATV activity is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. (helmets required), while trucks and other vehicles will hit the mud bog from 2-5 p.m.

No pre-registration is required.

Other activities include tug-of-war contests, a 50/50 drawing and concession stand.

The Reelsville Fire Department will be on hand to clean off vehicles for $10.
