Marilyn Juanita Arbuckle

Marilyn Juanita Arbuckle, 88, of Greencastle, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 while in care at Manorcare Nursing Home, Avon.

Born Nov. 3, 1928 in Indianapolis, she the daughter of Ernest Floyd and Ida Edith (Fleener) Miller.

She was a graduate of Fillmore High School.

Marilyn was a homemaker during her 69-year marriage to Carl Arbuckle.

She was a member of the Fillmore Methodist Church and a 25-year member and past worthy matron of the Coatesville Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Larry) Simpson of Apollo Beach, Fla.; son Chris (DeeDee) Arbuckle of Avon; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carl O. Arbuckle; a daughter, Carolyn Nanette Arbuckle; and a brother, Marvin Miller.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 15 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, 602 E. Washington St., Greencastle, with interment to follow at the Coatesville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home.
