James Lyle Hood

James Lyle Hood, 61, of Center Point, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017.

He was born in Greencastle to John and Harriet Hood on Dec. 3, 1955.

James worked as a carpenter.

He is survived by his children, Brooke (Jeremy) Jacobs and John Brandon (Meggan) Hood; grandchildren Kaitlyn Hayworth, Olivia Hood-Todd, Lillie Hood and Adalyn Hood; his mother; and siblings Terry Jackson, Judy Knight and John Hood.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
