Mill Pond invites community to adopt a senior

Mill Pond Health Campus, a Trilogy senior living community, will be celebrating National Senior Citizen Day by encouraging community members to spend some quality time with a resident of its campus on Monday, Aug. 21 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Dubbed “Adopt a senior,” the event is a way to share stories, learn life lessons and brighten the day of someone who may be lonely.

Mill Pond, 1014 Mill Pond Lane, Greencastle, will be serving light refreshments, while live entertainment will also be provided.

The Mill Pond Health Campus staff encourages people of all ages to “come out and meet some incredible men and women, whose wisdom and stories are just waiting to be shared.”
