Helen Dorothea Lehe

Helen Dorothea Lehe, 94, of Greencastle, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2017 at Mill Pond Health Campus.

Helen was born in Greencastle on March 7, 1923, the daughter of Valentine and Iva (Taylor) Hanlon.

She was a 1941 graduate of Greencastle High School.

She worked for Indiana State Farm and Putnamville Correctional Facility.

Mrs. Lehe was a member of First Baptist Church and Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Walbring (husband David), Rosedale; two grandchildren, Leann Gary (husband Robert), LaPorte, and Andy Walbring (wife Jodi), New Carlisle; four great-grandchildren, Kali Walbring, Paul Gary (wife Tari), David Walbring and Allyson Gary.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Paul Lehe.

At her request a cremation will take with private burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle at a later date.
