Over the Moon

Savannah Wolfe (far left), Chloe Perkins (middle) and Cora Beasley all believed their moon was “the highest” at the Putnam County Public Library’s STEAM Wednesdays event. In honor of the solar eclipse on Aug. 21, children were shown a model of the sun, earth and moon, learned how a solar eclipse happens and made their own coronas and sun-like sugar cookies.
