Artists sought for Nov. 17-18 show and sale at PCCS

Monday, August 21, 2017

Area artists are invited to participate in the inaugural InteGREATive Art Show and Sale in west-central Indiana.

The show and sale of fine arts are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 17 from 5:30-9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Greencastle.

The InteGREATive Art Show and Sale will be staged indoors at Putnam County Comprehensive Services’ new facility at 630 Tennessee St. in Greencastle. Forty 10x10 spaces will be available. Electricity and tables will be available by request.

Spaces are not walled, so artists should plan on supplying their own display fixtures. Space will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. In the case of overbooking, preference will be given to artists registered with the Greencastle Arts Council at www.GreencastleArtsCouncil.org/Artists.

Because the goal is to support area art and artists, participation will be free for qualifying artists -- no fees, no commissions.

The art show and sale is open to all artists living or working in Putnam and nearby Indiana counties who create works in 2-D and 3-D media such as ceramics, painting, drawing, photography, digital art, fiber, glass, jewelry, metal and wood.

The InteGREATive Art Show and Sale is made possible by a grant from Arts Illiana in collaboration with Green Light Art Studio of Putnam County Comprehensive Services, the Putnam County Convention and Visitor Bureau, the Greencastle Arts Council and the Rivers and Roads Artisan Trail.

For more information and to register, persons may contact Becky at Putnam County Comprehensive Services, 653-9763, Ext. 104, or rebecka_pccs@yahoo.com.
