Coach Aker on his team: “Coaches all across the state are talking about the opportunity to show a great deal of improvement from week 1 to week 2. We are no different in that regard. We’ve got plenty of areas in which we have been working to improve. Our young offensive line continues to improve. If we can continue to sustain blocks though the whistle, we will be able to piece together long scoring drives. We will continue to invest in our special teams. We made a couple big plays there last week and must continue to do so while cleaning up any technique issues or missed assignments.”

Coach Aker on Brown County: “Brown County is a much-improved football team. They’re coaching staff is doing a great job turning that program around. They had a few dynamic players on offense, most notably their quarterback. He’s a mobile passer who is able to extend plays."
