SPORTS BRIEFS: 3G Bowl sets youth registration

Signups for high school bowling at 3G Bowl will be at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 11.

Parents will need to fill out paperwork, and should attend with the bowler.

Anyone wanting to be on a school team should attend this registration session.

DePauw soccer to play in Indy

DePauw University and Franklin College’s men’s soccer programs have joined forces with the Indy Eleven of the North American Soccer League for a doubleheader at Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis next month.

DePauw and Franklin will battle at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 13, with the Indy Eleven taking on North Carolina FC at 7 p.m.

DePauw fans can visit depauw.indyeleven.com and purchase $10 tickets for admission to both games. Fans who already have an Indy Eleven ticket may use that for admission to the DePauw-Franklin game.

The Tigers open the 2017 regular season on Sept. 1 with a 7 p.m. game at Hanover.
