INDOT to hire winter workers at upcoming area job fairs

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) aims to hire multiple winter program workers at upcoming job fairs. Successful hires will work as snowplow drivers and may perform general highway maintenance duties November - March.

Positions are available in Cloverdale, Crawfordsville, Frankfort, Terre Haute and West Lafayette. All fairs will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Area job fairs include:

Cloverdale Subdistrict -- Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 10 High St.

Crawfordsville Subdistrict -- Thursday, Sept. 21 at 41 W. 300 North, Crawfordsville.

Applicants interested in seasonal work must have a valid CDL and the ability to pass a drug test successfully.

Bring a commercial driver’s license and current medical examiner’s certificate.
