Fair Board annual meeting set Sept. 18

The annual Putnam County Fair Board and membership meeting will be Monday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds York Automotive Family Community Building.

The evening will include a pitch-in dinner, annual business, awards and election of directors. All are welcome with the annual dues of $1 payable at the door.

The following township director positions are up for election: Clinton, Floyd, Greencastle, Jefferson, Russell, Washington. Township directors serve two-year terms.

There are eight at-large director positions available. At-large directors are elected to one-year terms.

All nominees will have an opportunity during the annual meeting to express their interest in serving the community as a Fair Board director.
