Taking Flight

Taking to the blue skies in a blue and yellow bird Saturday afternoon, 13-year-old Corbin Edwards of Greencastle climbs into the cockpit of a Varga Kachina. Pilot Larry Gruber flew the 1978 aircraft in from Delphi to take part in the EAA Young Eagle Rally this weekend at Putnam County Regional Airport Appreciation Days 2017. Airport Appreciation Days continues on Sunday from 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
